MPOWERD has an Eco-friendly, off-grid portable light called the Luci Lantern. The Luci Light is simple to operate because it was designed well. On one end are the solar panels and the on/off button. On the other end is the mouthpiece to inflate it. There is also a handle on both sides for easy carrying or hanging. It does not need to be inflated to work, so the light is still fully functional if the plastic gets torn.
Luci Light Review
I was worried that it would take me several days to charge because the sky had been cloudy, but after exposure to 8 hours of a partially overcast sky, the light lasted for about 6 hours on the highest setting. After charging it up again, the Luci Lantern lasts for 12 hours at the lowest setting.
-Lightweight (4oz) and compact, perfect size for almost any emergency kit
-Renewable, solar-powered rechargeable battery
-Solar panels charged under a cloudy sky, incandescent light, or direct sunlight
-Waterproof
-3 light settings (bright, super bright, flashing) and can be used as a flashlight or lantern
-Up to 65 lumen, I was able to read easily on the lowest setting, which illuminates about 10 sqft
-If concealed from the sun in an emergency kit, Luci holds a full charge for about 3 months
– Money saver because I’m not using battery-operated lights (flashlights or lanterns), so I don’t use or buy batteries as often.
I love this product! After seven years of owning the Luci Lanterns, I have purchased more. Now there’s a Luci Lantern in each of my cars, near the entry doors to my home, and stashed with my camping supplies. My sister, sister-in-law, and parents liked the product so much that they all now own several as well.
I use Luci lighting on:
- my back patio at night for extra lighting
- going to the woodpile in the dark
- camping
- power outages
- decorations (see picture below)
- my nieces take them out trick-or-treating
- road-trips
- late night car repairs
- to find lost car keys and phone in the dark
- night-time baby feedings
Luci Lighting Halloween Craft
Items needed: Luci Lantern, plastic grocery bag, black permanent marker, and tape.
Step 1 – Cut the bottom seam off the grocery bag. Cut the length of the grocery bag at a handle so that it opens to one piece.
Step 2 – Tape the grocery bag around the lantern with the solar panel facing up.
Step 3 – Make slits in the plastic hanging over the lantern, be careful not to puncture the lantern.
Step 4 – Draw eyes and a mouth with a permanent marker.
